What is the deal with crappy workmanship and customer service these days???? I have no doubt that my expectations are way to high but seriously what is the deal. About 2 weeks ago our dishwasher just stopped working. About the only thing these days that I can count on is that something expensive is going to break. Jordan was on the worst rotation of all times and the last thing I could think about was washing dishes by hand with the little time I had in the day to do the dishes to begin with (I know I sound so pretentious). Jordan had his one day off and we went and shopped around for a new dishwasher. We purchased one, mind you it was not cheap, and it was delivered. Jordan spent a good amount of time installing it (we didn't want to spend the extra money to have it installed). He finally gets it all put together and runs the dishwasher and water starts gushing out of the front end (not the hose or water connection). Ugggghh. So Jordan checks, double checks, triple checks the instructions and it was installed properly. He calls Sears and they say, "Oh sorry, it is probably a faulty gasket, we will send out a technician but the soonest will be in 5 days." Wow, thanks Sears for sending someone out SO SOON to fix a BRAND NEW appliance that we haven't even gotten to use. We have such confidence in this dishwasher, not!
A few days later, we take Jordan's new car (since his old one broke down and the repairs cost more than the cars was worth) to get the windows tinted. I know, I know, we did not NEED to get the windows tinted but Jordan really WANTED it. So I do some research and find a place that comes highly recommended. We drop it off and when we come back to pick it up there are tons of bubbles. The guy tries to convince us that this is normal and they will go away. Now, I have had several of my cars tinted and actually dated a guy who worked at a tint shop and that is a bunch of b.s. The owners says that if it is still like that in 5 days to bring it back (it actually got worse) and he will be MORE THAN HAPPY to redo all of the windows. He says it was probably because the tech worked too fast and it was windy out. Wow, thanks guy! It would have been even better if you did it right the first time. Like we have confidence that you will do it correctly the 2nd time. What a major inconvenience!!!!
So is it just me or is an apology for crappy workmanship just not good enough??? Ugggghhhh!!!!

so frustrating! 5 days? I'm sure they will be sending someone over every night to take care of the dishes for the day, right? ha ha
i had a bad day too... i think God likes to test us to keep us on our toes.. good thing is that we survive it:)
I know what you mean. You guys have had so much in the recent past with the house. Have you rented the Money Pit lately? We just did, made us feel a little better! I can't believe 5 days until someone comes.
I love the door you made! You are pretty amazing at putting things together.
I SOOOOOOO know what you are saying. Don't even get me started on the customer service people from India.......
I'm so sorry. We know how you feel. Will just got a new laptop a couple of weeks ago that showed up broken and they still haven't sent us a replacement...4 weeks later. I agree with Michelle, you should demand them to provide some sort of maid cleaning service in the meantime. I bet that will get them over quicker:) Hang in there and let us know if you need extra dishwashing hands:)
