This last week Jordan pulled out his cello. Boy, did it have a lot of dust on it. He is doing a hospice rotation and every Friday they have a time called Reflections. He was asked to present something for reflection. Jordan still doesn't know how he feels about this rotation. He says they focus a lot on communication and he says that is not his thing. I wish I could disagree with him :) Anyway, back to the point of this post. While Jordan was practicing Sabrina played her piano. Then since Mackenzie is now old enough so he let her take a turn with the cello. He did this with Sabrina when she was younger. They love it. I love it. I love that they are interested in playing musical instruments. Then Jordan and I got to reminisce by playing some duets like we used to do back BC (before children). Let me just make a little disclaimer here: I really enjoy playing duets with him in our home around our family. I DON'T enjoy, and in fact dread, playing in front of other people (i.e. church). I would much rather give 20 million talks before doing a musical number. Just thought I would clarify this for anyone from church reading this post.

I remember when Brian had to do the Reflections thing.....it was like pulling teeth!!! Seriously, I think it's weird that they make them do it, but good in a way, too. I didn't even know he played the cello! That is AWESOME!
Let me see if I read that right. You want to do a musical number in church, right?! You're begging to have someone call you and Jordan to do a duet, right?! Yeah, that's what I thought. I'll call Becky now and see what the schedule holds. Ha! :)
What?! What musical instrament do you play Jess? That is so cool.
