Could it be?

On Friday, May 28th, Jordan had his last "official" overnight call as an Internal Medicine Resident in Wards. The word "call" is quite misleading. For those not familiar with residency, "call" means that he has to stay/work/sleep at the hospital and get anywhere from 0-6 hours sleep during a 30 hour shift. He doesn't get to come home and wait for a "call" to come in. I could not be more excited! On Friday, Jordan emailed me saying, "Yea, this is my last overnight call! We made it." Within the hour I received another email that said, "Umm, I am assigned to cover a MICU overnight call on 6/2. Really, that is my last call." It was kind of a sick joke.
Because 3 residents were either kicked out or dropped out of the program, the remaining residents had to take on 2 extra inpatient months (MICU, CCU, WARDS). Major yuck for the remaining residents and their families! Not like they/we had any choice though.
GREAT JOB JORDAN!!!! YOU MADE IT! I AM SOOOOO PROUD OF YOU
.....AND THANK GOODNESS WE ACTUALLY STILL LOVE AND EVEN LIKE EACH OTHER!!!! :)
