Vermont We Miss You!

Since it is Fall, we are terribly missing Vermont. To our Vermont friends...... How are the leaves?? Have they changed yet?? Have you gone apple picking?? Had apple cider?? Is it cold already?? Is it a good Fall??
This week, we were just reminded of the wonderful Vermont weather (said with a little sarcasm). Jordan's car broke down for the 3rd time because his exhaust totally fell apart due to corrosion (our car is not that old but have already had to replace the muffler, exhaust, etc). I remember when our friend the Leonards graduated from UVM and moved to Oregon after our first year Vermont. I think I remember Heather telling me they were having their car worked on and the guy said after looking under they car, "Where in the world did you live before moving here? Your car is totally rusted underneath." So to all of our Vermont friends, be prepared after living in 6 months a year of snow and all that wonderful salt, that you might have the effects of the snow follow you even after you leave :)
We miss you guys!!!

Oh, those Vermont memories!
I know what you are saying about the cars. We have been trying to sell our car (the volvo) and so far haven't had any luck. One person that came to look at it did metion that there was rust all throughout the engine. Good thing we didn't pay to much for the bomb.
I am ready to drive it off a cliff!

It was good to hear from you...did my mom let you know about us? Congrats on another baby girl-it's nice to hear of other families that have all girls when all around us families are having the opposite of what they all ready have.

Hope things are well...the girls are so big!!

Ah Jessica! Yes, the joys of cars driven through VT winters. When it came time to sell that car, I had a few people look under the hood and say "oh, never mind." We did give the guy who bought it a very good deal though! Hope all is well with the pregnancy. Maybe you've delivered already, but I must say I so enjoyed your post on the ice packs and warm baths. That alone makes me certain I am done having kids! :)
