Six Quirky Things About Me

Shauna tagged me so I here I go. I can't believe I am typing some of these things out for people to read. Here it goes.

Here are six quirky things about me:
1. When we move into a new place and I paint and decorate a room I don't like to spend a lot of time in that room. I notice every mistake and don't like to look at my own work. For example, I faux painted our downstairs bathroom in Vermont. I noticed that I would not use that bathroom and instead go all the way to the upstairs bathroom. Way weird isn't it.

2. I sucked my finger until I was a teenager, I think it was 13. Because of this bad habit, four years of braces did not fix my teeth. I had to have major jaw surgery, my senior year of high school, to close my bite so that it looked normal. I still wear a retainer because I am so afraid my teeth will look like they used to.

3. I still sleep with a blanket (Jordan hates it. At least I don't suck my finger :)). My grandma made it for me when I was growing up and I love to thread my fingers through it as I am falling asleep. It doesn't really look like a blanket anymore, more like a ball of yarn. Even the girls make fun of my blanket.

4. I am racking my brain and can't believe I am really putting this down. Before I was pregnant I never farted (called tutting in our family) outside of the bathroom. When we got married, Jordan made it his mission to teach me how. Growing up I was always taught that if you had to pass gas you went to the bathroom. I guess you could say I came from a very anal retentive family :)

5. I don't really like going to the movies. I have a hard time sitting still in one place through the whole movie.

6. I love to organize things. I like to buy things that help me organize. The sad thing is that I don't seem to keep things organized (like how it was when I first organized it).
