This week while Sabrina was at school, Mackenzie and I started to make her birthday cake. Mackenzie is having her 3rd birthday party on Saturday. Here is Mackenzie helping mix the cake mix. Being a kid is so much fun!
The final product, a princess cake. I wish I could have taken a picture of the awwhh on Kenzie's face when it was done. She said, "That is for me!? I love it Mommy. Thank you." Now that made it all worth the time and effort. Who cares if the cake didn't taste good or look like I wanted it to. Mackenzie felt special and that is all that mattered.

Um, that cake looks fabulous. In the first pic of it in the birthday post I thought "hmmm...that's a pretty cake, I wonder where she bought it" and I marvel at your piping skills now that I realize it's homemade!
