Irish Girls

This year we played a little game with shamrocks and lots of green prizes. The girls loved it! Thank you 99 cent store :)

This is what the girls wore to school. As the girls were walking to their class lines they each responded differently to the giggles coming from their classmates.
Mackenzie loved the attention of all the kids smiling, laughing, and pointing at her headband. She stood tall and smiled back.
Sabrina responded with her famous glare and frown because she thought they were laughing "at her." I have come to realize this is her way of holding back the tears. :( Thanks to her awesome teacher, who asked Sabrina if he could were her hat and bow tie if she wasn't going to, for snapping Sabrina out of her mood. Can I just say how much I LOVE Mr. Flanders. He has been such a blessing in Sabrina's life and ours too. There are so many great things about him, but Sabrina's answer to the question about why she loves Mr. Flanders as her teacher seems to sum it all up. "Mr. Flanders values me and what I am able to do. He appreciates who I am." LOVE IT!

what a nice mom - games on St. Patrick's Day! They look so cute - it is so funny how different kids react differently to the same things :)

Love it! I am a little glad, though, that they don't have a Daddy/Daughter dance at our school. Damian doesn't ever seem to be able to work out his fabulous schedule. :(
They do look totally awesome... both for the dance AND St. Patty's Day!
