Back to School 2010

Sabrina had Back to School Night at Highland Ranch Elementary. I can not believe my little baby is almost done with 2nd grade. She is such an amazing student. I just wish she wasn't so hard on herself.
My favorite thing we brought home was a book Sabrina wrote called, "Who is Sabrina Smith?" On the first page was a self portrait in which she labeled all of her body parts. Smile: she loves to smile, Eyes: her eyes are green and blue, Hair: she just cut her hair shorter, Hands: she has piano fingers, Sneakers: her sneakers are to big but she likes it, Legs: she loves to run, Shirt: this is one of my favorite shirts (pic of a dog). So on each page it asks who is Sabrina Smith. First they ask her dad and this is what Sabrina wrote each of us saying.
Dad....
Even though I don't ususally see Sabrina during the day, I still love her. She is fast, talented, and she loves science. Whenever I come home, we play video games and eat a fruit plate. I love Sabrina. She is my "FIRSTEST."
Now lets ask her mom...
Oh, Sabrina is getting so big. I wish she would stop growing. She is getting smarter and faster every day. Sabrina loves animals and wants to have a pet. I love when she gets home from school. I am so lucky to have Sabrina.
Now lets ask her 4 year old sister, Mackenzie...
I loooooove Sabrina!!! She always plays tigers and bears with me. Sabrina is one of my favorite sisters. I don't like when Sabrina is at school. I don't like it because she is gone for a long time. But when I pick her up from school I am so happy.
Now lets ask her pet dog Domino (this is gaga and papas dog but she it is her dog :).....
Bark ruff arf ruff bark? Arf..ruff arf ruff bark ruff arf ruff!
Mrs. Sivas is such a great teacher. Sabrina loves her a lot. Normally Sabrina does not show affection for teachers but Mrs. Sivas is special. We think she is great!

What a cute little project, it must help them see how wonderful they are and think about how much their family loves them. Her answers were so sweet
