Sabrina's 8th Birthday

So as I was beginning to blog Sabrina's birthday it made me think of what my friend Heather does in her family. They have birthday months. Seriously, Sabrina had so many celebrations it could have easily been titled her birthday month.

Saturday night before Sabrina's birthday we were cuddling on my bed and before she went to sleep I said, "Wow, at 2:20 in the morning will have been 8 years ago that you were born." As I said this I was overcome with emotion and realized how ridiculously fast my little girl has grown up. How in the world can she be 8. I have such vivid memories of her birth and when she was a baby. Maybe it was because she was my first baby and there was nothing else needing my attention more than our baby Sabrina.

We start out birthday mornings with Mickey Mouse waffles. Each birthday I try and master Mickey's facial features. This birthday he has banana ears, cherry eyes, candle nose, and whip cream lips.

Sabrina opened a few presents. Mackenzie was sooooo excited to give Sabrina a marshmallow gun. Can you tell that Sabrina was excited???? Check out Kenzie waiting for her thank you hug.

On Monday, Sabrina had a Carnival Birthday Party with a jumper and all. Can you say lucky kid.

Camille even got to try it out before all of the guests arrived.

Games included the ring toss, bean bag toss, Frisbee, dodge ball tag, crochet, and sack races.

Treats included cotton candy, popcorn, and pizza. And watch out if you left your pizza on your plate because Camille would come get it for herself. Little stinker.

Then we had balloon bouquet cupcakes.
