San Luis Obispo

For MLK weekend Jordan had 4 days off so we decided to go to San Luis Obispo, CA. I wanted to show the girls and Jordan where I used to go camping with my family when I was younger. We did camp but instead used some hotel points we had saved up. We visited Montana de Oro State Park, Morro Bay, the hotel pool, and our good friends The Jones'. I had one those moments when we were hiking the cliffs of Montana de Oro and remembering when my brother and I used to whine about having to walk so much. I called my dad and thanked him for taking us there when we were younger because obviously I had such great memories I wanted to take my own kids to see it. I was really looking forward to taking the girls to see the Sea Otters I remember used to hang out in the bay but there were no more sea otters. I was so sad.

Kenzie getting ready to go swimming. I really am starting to think she believes that this diving ring is meant to be put on heads.

Sabrina just loves going on any sort of trip. She was so excited to be staying in the hotel and going swimming.

On the way up to San Luis we stopped at my parents house. I realized I did not bring a bathing suit for Camille (not that she needs one). I found this old bathing suit in a box in the closet. It was about 4x too big but she just looked so cute.

Camille's first time in a swimming pool. She loved it. Notice the ring on Jordan's head. It was put there by Mackenzie. See what I mean.

These are some of the tide pools below the cliffs at Montana de Oro. It was so beautiful.
Daddy sure had his hands full with his girls. He loved it!

Matt, Delaney, and Hudson. We missed Gilen that day. She was not feeling well.

Sabrina and Delaney climbed some of the cliffs and were trying to find "gold" in the dirt. Sabrina loves hiking, climbing, and going on adventures. She could entertain herself for hours.

Kenzie decided to stay down below near the tide pools and play in the little rocks and shells.
Camille enjoyed hanging out in the Baby Bjorn.

Jordan and Matt hanging out in the shade talking.

This was one of my favorite pictures. Look at those great daddies. Two good friends with their kiddos.

We didn't get to see any Sea Otters but we saw these Sea Lions hanging out by the boats in Morro Bay.

Jordan in the hotel room not relaxing but instead catching up on paperwork.

This is for you Suzie Daley :) As we were leaving Morro Bay we passed by this license plate. We thought of you and miss you guys.

Where did you grow up??? I love that whole area where you vacationed. I grew up in Santa Maria and visited those areas often.

WOW! Your house photos are amazing!!! I had no idea how bad it has been at your house. EEKS! Nothing like a little "house project" when you've got a new born around, eh?! Your timing is a little stinky. Ha!
