I just thought this picture was funny because the girls totally thought they were so sneaky by hiding behind the tree. They didn't think we could see them.
Mackenzie has a gift for taking household items and putting them to another use. She is quite creative. On this day she thought the tree skirt would be better as a blanket instead of under the tree. She decided it was time to take a pretend nap.
Several years back my dad made these soldiers. Mackenzie decided to call them her mom and dad. At the time of the picture she was pretending that she was taking a walk with her new mom and dad.

I love the way you decorate your home at Christmas. Looks like the girls had a blast! Too bad Riley wasn't there to harmonize with Camille!
I am sure our trees here are no where near Vermont standard. Fake is probably better!
Mackenzie is so creative! I love it.
Our decorating didn't go so well today. All the boxes of decorations are still strewn about the house and the pre-lit tree has a bunch of lights out. Oy!
Don't you love this time of year?! The smells, the decorations, the excitement of the kids. I love the picture of your daughter with the lights all around her. She gets all into it, huh?!
hey, we just did the decorating thing, too! it looks like you were having fun, even if there was a Christmas screamer going on in the background :)
Sabrina is sooooooo TALL!! What beauties you have!! I see the big mirror we both bought from Costco in one of your pics. Ahhh... sure miss you.
Your kids are too cute! Decorating for any holiday always seems to bring out wonderful smiles in the kids :)
So... I think all my Christmas stuff is up now, too! Well... all that I'm putting up this year, anyway! My kids were also whining about WHEN we could decorate, and though it took us several days, we managed to get it done!
I miss you! Your house is so beautiful at Christmas!
Jessica I can't believe how big your girls have gotten! Sabrina looks so old! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Merry Christmas Smiths. It looks like a nice warm sunny southern California Christmas. I've been thinking of you guys a lot this December, your shovel has been getting overtime work (as have I).
