I'm a Big Girl!

Mackenzie started preschool at Highland Ranch Elementary School on Tuesday, August 25th (her 4th birthday). She was so excited to go to the same school that Sabrina goes. She goes Tuesday-Friday.
I can not believe that my Kenzie is getting so big!!!

As you can see from her expression and just like her sister, she was ready to be done taking pictures.
On a random side note, deep down inside I am a excited that Mackenzie likes to wear lots of different cute outfits and have her hair done all different ways with pretty bows and clips. I am sure one day I will be eating my words, but for now I am excited. I don't like or believe in comparing the girls (I love that they are each their unique self), but I realized that I really missed doing hair and shopping for girly clothes. I was thinking back to when Sabrina was 3 and 4 years old and realized that she was already adamant about not having her hair done, let alone touched, or wearing anything that was somewhat fitted or girly. Lets just say that Mackenzie has TONS of brand new hand-me-down shoes and dresses. I am curious to see what Camille will be like at this same age. Ahhh, I just love my girls!!!!

All of your girls are so cute! We sure miss you guys.
I'm not sure if we will be able to make it when Josh comes. It seems like we have a conflict every weekend.:(
Hope all is well.
Much love,
Amy

Hey Jessica I hope you don't mind I checked out your blog. Is Mackenzie in the peer program at highland ranch?
She definitely looked ready for school.

It's so much fun to see how much each child's personality differs from the next...I don't know how much longer Gwen is going to let me do her hair and dress her up. She tells me most of the time that she doesn't want me to do anything, where Grace begs me to. Gwen's first day of preschool pictures weren't even close to being as good as Mackenzie's. She gave me one fake smile picture and the rest she's scowling at me because I wanted to take pictures and not take her directly to preschool. Geez what an awful mom I am!!
