Camille Update

Yesterday I took Camille for her 2 week pediatric appointment. She is already 9 1/2 lbs. She loves to eat. I am glad some of that milk is putting on some weight. Sabrina and Mackenzie have been with my parents since Sunday. They are at Disneyland for 3 days. How fun! I have been experiencing what I vaguely remember it being like when I had Sabrina and it was only her and I. Life seemed so simple back in those days. But I have to admit I really, really miss the girls. The house is just too quiet without them. These times alone make me realize how much I love being their mom. I can go about 1 full day max before I am done with my alone time and am ready to pick them up and bring them home.

When I talked to Mackenzie after Camille's appointment she asked how Camille did with her shots. I told Kenzie that she didn't have any at this appointment. Kenzie said, "Oh, I am so glad. I no like shots." Such a sweet concerned sister.

So the report from Disneyland is that Kenzie has been fascinated with seeing all of the princesses. My mom asked Sabrina if she wanted to join her and Kenzie in seeing one of the princesses. Sabrina's response was, "Are you kidding me, no thanks. I'll go with Papa instead." This just makes me laugh. I just love how different the girls are. It reminds me how they came to our family with such unique personalities. I am amazed at how they can be so different but still play so well together. We will see how long this lasts. I'll enjoy it while it does.

Oh, that is so Sabrina! How funny..."um...where are the superheros Grandpa?!" I can just hear her saying that.

Glad you have some free time. It sure does wonders for the sanity.
